I have never been a huge fan of Ikea's meals. I like the ice cream...but not really the meatballs. But when Ikea hosted the Swedish Christmas Jubilee I was excited to try some Swedish food that isn't usually on the Ikea line. (I also think that part of the money went to charity although I can't find that listed anymore).
Here's my plate from the food line:
I also attempted some smoked salmon (I think there were 3 varieties!) but that is missing from the photo. I enjoyed the cucumber "salad" and the baked potatoes. The rest of it was ok.
But then there was dessert! I've also been intrigued by the options when I go to the cafeteria, but I've tried a few not so great desserts and have been a little hesitant to try again.
As you can see it's almost as full as my food plate. I REALLY liked the chocolate coconut thing (I think it had a marshmallow inside. I also liked the little cookie (although not that unique). The green bar dessert = ewwww. I liked the green dome (ice cream inside) although it had a weird flavor.
I definitely know what to get next time I go!
