Cool buildings

I'm transfering some pictures on my computer and found these two. The first is from Paris, I like how they designed the fake front to look just like the usual front. So it wouldn't be an ugly construction site. This one is from Toronto. I think it's just art. I liked them both.

Philly!

We all descended on Philly. This is what I remember: Lots of green grass: Lots of games: Lots of food: "Where's Dave?"

Cushioned subway seats?

I wanna know what city has cushioned subway seats....I've never seen them.

jpegs abound!

I've been surrounded by images and designs these last 2 weeks. Here are two that have been in frequent rotation. Don't try the web-site. It doesn't work yet. That wasn't my responsibility :-)

Star Wars + Disney = cool ads

All credit to the brother who sent me the link to these....I just know he won't post them :-) Seems that Disney has a week-long Star Wars event at Disney World each year. Here are some of the ads....I found them very creative and funny (there are others here: http://www.mymodernmet.com/profiles/blogs/disney-star-wars-weekend) After my recent trip to Paris via N. Ireland....I wished I had this power in the Paris airport as we were frantically looking for our luggage!

A picture and a thought

I saw this ad last week and I liked it. In other news: today I went to the supply depot for people that sell large quantities of things. As I was loading my trunk a man pulled up behind a van behind me. He storms out of his car (leaving his passenger to close the door) and rushes to the driver's window of the van. He then starts a barrage of comments that included, "Do you have a green card?" "You cut me off, you cut me off!" "You need to learn some manners you b*%&#". That last statement is what got me. Here he is screaming like a lunatic - leaving his car in the middle of a parking lot with the door open, but the woman in the van needed to learn some manners. Stuff that makes the world go round right there :-)
